Hi, I’m Maria Webb. I’ve seen how confusing and stressful school can be for families trying to support a gifted child without a clear roadmap. Giftedness isn’t just about high test scores. It often comes with emotional intensity, social struggles, and uneven development that most people don’t understand. I saw kids shrinking under the weight of those misunderstandings. I saw parents searching everywhere for answers that never seemed to fit.

That’s what pulled me deeper into this work. I’m a licensed educator with advanced training in Gifted and Talented Education, Social Emotional & Academic Development, and Educational Leadership. I’ve taught in the classroom, coached educators, and supported families one-on-one. But titles aside, what drives me is helping families truly see and support their gifted child for who they are, not just what they achieve.

I created Gifted Compass to help parents feel supported and confident as they guide their child's emotional and academic journey. Not pieced-together advice or generic tips, but practical tools that actually work for both the parent and the child. This program is the resource I needed when I first started working with gifted learners, and I’m so excited to share it with you.
